Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Jobber LLC ("Unit Scout", "we") collects when you use unitscout.pro and what we do with it. We keep it simple: we collect what the site needs to work, and we don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are handled by our login provider and stored encrypted; we can't see them.
- What you save: your states, residency choices, point totals, application plan, favorites and notes.
- Basic technical data: browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location from your IP address, collected by our hosting and analytics providers to keep the site running and see which features get used.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, such as a data error report.
How we use it
- To run your account and show your saved plans and notes on any device.
- To send account emails, such as confirmations and password resets, and, if you choose, deadline reminders or product updates. You can opt out of non-account emails any time.
- To fix errors, protect the site and improve features.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We don't use your notes or plans for anything except showing them to you.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers who process data only on our behalf: Supabase (login and database), Cloudflare (hosting, security and site analytics) and, if paid plans launch, Stripe (payments; we never see full card numbers). We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service.
Storage on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your session, filters and map settings. We don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your saved data within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.
Your choices
You can view and edit most of your information in the app. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email support@unitscout.pro. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights; we'll honor them.
Children
Unit Scout is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that protect it. No system is perfectly secure, so use a password you don't use elsewhere.
Changes
We'll post updates here with a new effective date and tell signed-in users about significant changes.
