Terms of Service
Effective October 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Jobber LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company that operates Unit Scout ("Unit Scout", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using unitscout.pro you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. What Unit Scout is
Unit Scout shows draw odds, harvest statistics, maps, deadlines and planning tools for western big game hunts, built from public reports published by state wildlife agencies. Unit Scout is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any state agency. We don't submit applications, sell licenses or give legal advice.
2. No guarantee of accuracy
We work to keep the data accurate, but state reports contain errors, change formats and change rules every year, and we can make mistakes copying or calculating them. Data may be missing for some states, species, years or residency groups. Past draw results and harvest success do not predict or guarantee future results. Official regulations, proclamations and agency notices always control over anything shown on Unit Scout.
3. Your responsibility
You agree to check every hunt code, deadline, boundary, quota, fee, weapon rule and license requirement with the issuing state before applying or hunting, and to follow all hunting laws and regulations. Unit Scout is not responsible for missed deadlines, wrong hunt codes, unsuccessful draws, lost or spent preference or bonus points, application fees, license costs, travel costs, citations or any other loss that follows from using the service.
4. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Give accurate information, keep your password private and tell us if you think your account was accessed without permission. You're responsible for activity in your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or misuse the service.
5. Acceptable use
Use Unit Scout for your own hunt research and planning. Don't scrape, copy in bulk, resell or republish the site's data, maps or features; don't interfere with the site or other users; and don't use it for anything unlawful. Sharing a screenshot or a link with a hunting partner is fine.
6. Your content
Notes, favorites, point totals and plans you save stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them to you so the service works. We don't publish them. Don't save anything you're not allowed to share with us.
7. Beta and changes
Unit Scout is in beta. Features, states, species and data may change, pause or be removed at any time. We may also update these terms; if a change is significant we'll post the new date here and tell signed-in users. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
8. Paid plans
Unit Scout is free during the beta. If we offer paid plans later, prices, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy, and you'll only be charged after you choose a paid plan.
9. Our property
The Unit Scout name, design, software, maps and compiled datasets belong to Jobber LLC. Underlying public agency data remains public; our selection, arrangement and calculations are ours.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Unit Scout is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Jobber LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost tags, points, fees, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Unit Scout. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover Jobber LLC's reasonable costs, including legal fees, if a claim against us arises from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using Unit Scout and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@unitscout.pro. Sections 2, 3 and 9–14 continue after your account ends.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
